This class helps single adults wrestle with questions like: How do I apply well-meaning advice and Bible verses from friends? What about my disappointment or anger toward God? Should I hang onto hope year after year? Through lecture and small group discussion, participants learn to navigate the terrain of the single journey, and debunk some common myths (and faulty theologies) of Christian singleness. I taught a three week class entitled: Singles: Navigating Relationships in Today’s World.
This class helps single adults navigate the current dating drought in Christian circles and understand the difference between being lonely and being alone. Participants are inspired to dream wide about their future, think through a single person’s role in the church, and make God their ally in the singleness journey.
