In Review: Eat Pray Love

I recently reviewed Eat Pray Love. I enjoyed the book well enough -- well, I should say I enjoyed the Eat section a lot and then kind of got through Pray and Love. So I was curious to see what they'd do with the movie.

Check out my review. And I'd love to hear what you thought of the book and/or movie, too.

I agree with your summary of the book. I liked the "eat" love, too, because I like to travel and it was fun traveling vicariously through her. I had a little more trouble getting into the "pray" part (and of course, didn't agree with the transcendent feel of it), and gave up sometime during the "love" part. I thought the movie still might be interesting to get to see her travels and maybe it wouldn't be as "out there"/New-Agey as the movie. Seems like they kind of tone that stuff down in movies sometimes.
