Beth Moore's New Battleground

It was a treat to get to interview beloved Bible teacher Beth Moore several months ago for a magazine article I’d been assigned to write. Gaining a helpful mantra in the process was simply a bonus.

I’ve found myself repeating Beth's helpful words often in the months since our conversation. Because they’re that needed and helpful. And insecurity—Beth’s new battleground—is that sneaky and prevalent.

Check it out in this HomeLife cover story:

Beth Moore Wages War on Insecurity

About a year ago beloved Bible teacher Beth Moore got fed up. And when a woman who regularly carries a well-worn Bible and a shotgun gets fed up, look out. It's war.

You see, Beth realized she'd been battling a destructive enemy almost her entire life, an enemy every woman will recognize. And she decided that enemy - insecurity - had to go.

"It was as if God pulled a veil from my eyes. All at once I realized: This is huge. And it needs to be addressed," Beth explains of her new war on insecurity. "I finally came to a point where I thought, Are you kidding me? God has set me free from so many things, and I'm going to carry this one to my casket? No!"
